After a busy time of organising the anticipated Christmas party last week, Room’s 14 & 15 got down to the serious business of thoroughly enjoying the day. The decorations were up, the secret Santa presents were all wrapped up and under the Christmas tree!
After singing some Christmas songs, the students had a hilarious game of outside musical chairs followed by present opening time!
More games followed morning tea, including stingball and multisport.
There was also a best dressed prize giving too!
It was then down to the serious business of eating lunch!
The tables were literally groaning with all the food that was on offer, but all credit to our ākonga, they did their best to get through it all.
Following lunch, we were entertained by the trio of Nadine, Katelyn, and Saanvi as they played Christmas tunes on their violins and the day ended with ball toss and quiet time/silent ball!
Everything was well run by each committee and Miss Page and Mrs Johnston just had to supervise!
