The weeks are moving so fast that the Friday Naghere Hub assembly was suddenly upon us again today!
Harper & Fletcher were our very capable co presenters for this particularly busy assembly and did a fantastic mahi!
Mrs Poole as always, was so happy and proud to be able to come and present the Principal awards and Harper & Fletcher presented the student awards.
We were fortunate in having Sarah Poole who is a librarian down at the Koraunui/Stokes Valley Hub come along and talk to the tamariki about the annual Summer BIG Read competition which opens on the 1st December and goes right through to the 31st January. To enter into the competition simply drop into the Hub and fill in a booklet.
To be in to win a prize, the tamariki need to have read 6 books during those dates. But they will also need to do 3 activities, examples of which are detailed in the booklet.

Brooklyn & Dewmith were the lucky ākonga drawn out of the Ngahere token box and Mrs Johnston declared Room 1 to be the best class!
