Room 5, in preparation for their dance number, ‘Under the Sea’ with Room 6, spent several sessions making fishes out of paper mache. They began by sticking 2 layers of torn-up newspaper, alternating with 2 layers of thick white paper, then sealing it with a layer of pvc glue, adding fins and tails along the way. The class then used 2 to 3 different colours to paint their fishes. Some nice big eyes and a bit of glitter were added to the finishing touches. As you can see from the first photo, the fishes were a great addition to Room’s 5 & 6’s dance!
