Through the first half of term 1 Room two have been focused on building our well being through Taha Tinana – physical activities. Each morning we start our day by going for a well being walk or run, we repeat this at least once more throughout the day as a way of keeping ourselves fresh and focused on our study. We have also been playing a range of games each morning and afternoon. The focus for these have been to be more active while demonstrating our Tawhai values of respect, resilience and integrity. On Tuesday afternoon we have a formal coaching session with KELLY SPORTS. On Friday we follow this up with our syndicate sports mornings. You can support your child by reminding them to wear appropriate and comfortable footwear for these times.
