Last week in recognition of ‘Sea Week’, Room 15 decided to get arty!! We spent Thursday afternoon painting sea creatures onto lovely flat river rocks, made some origami fish or octopus hand-prints. It was fun to get the paints out for the first time this year, and thankfully we had enough art t-shirts to cover our clothes as it got very messy! There were some incredible ideas and creative creations that everyone left to dry overnight before taking home to show off to whanau.
There was quite a lot of clean-up required, but thankfully the stars in Room 15 did an amazing job of making sure the art shirts were folded and put away, tables were wiped clean and paints put away carefully, so when the cleaning staff arrived they were none the wiser of what the room had looked like only minutes before! Ka pai Room 15 on your creativity and your pride in keeping our classroom beautiful!
