Tape Art

Posted on by Rosa Stewart

On Friday 3rd August, Molly van Diggele and I were chosen to take part in a ‘Tape Art’ Workshop down at the Hub.
The workshop was organised by Erica & Struan. We were asked to design a piece of artwork with a story behind it. Molly and I decided to design a tawhai tree to represent Tawhai School and the life cycle of a monarch butterfly to add detail. We drew the artwork using tape then painted over it. Once the paint was dry, we peeled the tape off and admired the finished piece of artwork!
A big Thank You to Barbara Hay for helping organise this workshop.
