The Pumpkin Patch has had a very busy term. A huge welcome to all of the new children that have joined our classes, or that have been visiting, we are really enjoying getting to know you.
This term, we have had a wonderful time learning all about keeping safe at school and in the wider community. We have also been busy learning new a waiata Rangi and Papa and to celebrate Samoan language week a new pese Le Aute. It is always a pleasure watching our children/tamariki enjoy music and listening to them sing.
We have also had a wonderful time celebrating Matariki and discussing what it means to each of us. The attached link is a wonderful explanation of Matariki, we hope you enjoy watching it: Matariki, by Waitangi Teepa
Have a safe and relaxing holiday, we look forward to next term and all of the fun it will bring.
