It was great to see everyone back at school and we have had a very settled first week.
We have been busy thinking about objects and family experiences that are precious to us.
We have learnt that May 5th was Children’s Day in Japan and that is a special time for families.
We have decorated our own carp kites and took a lot of time and care with our patterns and colours.
These kites represent being strong and finding a way through adversity.
We also had fun with a paper craft activity of a famous Japanese character.
Do you know our puppet’s name?
