Just a brief glimpse of some of our Term 4 activities as we come to the end of a very productive year.
We really enjoyed learning to Folk Dance at P.E time. We found that Music and Dance were great ways for developing Health and Wellbeing through learning and practising different types of movement and having fun.(Taha Tinana and Taha Whanau).
We had lots of lovely animal visitors come in. Charlotte Minot brought her beautiful puppy called Sparky who is a Bichon Shiatsu cross (unfortunately my photos couldn’t transfer) We also had Hazel and Cory bring in their adorable baby bunnies. It was wonderful to learn more about these pets and get to hold them.
There were lots of opportunities for class and independent Art and Creative projects. Play dough swimmers, beautiful Diwali Art (more of which you will see on the school reports) and pastel and paint etchings. I had hoped to display some of these pieces in a mini Art Show before they come home. It really is a bit of a tight squeeze now – I will let you know if there is time to organise it!
This week we have been trying some fun Science activities.
Thank you for all your wonderful behaviour, hard-work and learning this year. Time for very happy holidays and fun with family!
