Kia Ora Room 16 Whānau,
we have been keeping our bugs alive after cooking our bread. Last week we grew our natural yeast bugs and this week we baked with them. We kept them alive by feeding them some of the dough, and then 2 big spoons of flour, a teaspoon of sugar and some warm water to bring it together (about 3-4 tablespoons).
Its time for our bugs to go and grow. If you or your child would like to continue growing the bug, please send them to school with a small container tomorrow and I will give them some to take. To keep growing this you can follow the instructions in the PDF I posted last week :)
