Nga Kukari got together and had an assembly this afternoon. It was great to celebrate all of the great things going on in our syndicate.
Today was also a special assembly because it was hosted by Keira and Stacie from Room 16! We were lucky enough that Stacie and Keira sang us a song. It was “Aotearoa Christmas” and lots of us could sing along!
Mrs Poole and Ms Barnden were looking out for the best class throughout the assembly to receive the Assembly Donkey award. They get to keep the donkey in their class until the next assembly. This time it was Room 16 – well done Room 16!
We celebrated children showing the Tawhai values with our Values Awards and then the Principal’s Awards were presented.
All the children that had placed in the competitive Cross Country got given certificates by Mr McGarry.
We are so proud of all these children and their hard work! Tino pai!
