3D shape fun!

Posted on by Rosa Stewart

On Friday in Room 11 we looked at 3D shapes and their properties.
It was really interesting to find out that 3D shapes have faces, vertices (or corners) and edges. We had a look at this website:
http://www.learnalberta.ca/content/me3usa/flash/index.html?goLesson=14

We then had a go at making our own 3D shapes and labelling them with the number of faces, corners and edges. We made cubes, triangular prisms (like a Toblerone bar!!) cones (which reminded us of icecream!) and pyramids.

The results of our making are hanging in our window so please come for a look! cool
