Kiā ora o te whānau,
After an absence of nearly 4 years, the Tawhai Kura Disco was back with a hiss and roar thanks to the hard effort and mahi put in by the wonderful band of PTSG, Alice Hurdle, Karen Wiggins, Naomi Bryden, Nicole Te Hiini, Donna Overduin, Fran Berridge, Mel Boyd, Renee Saul, and Steph Barnden. The photo frame went very well in both sessions. M.C Nicole Te Hiini had the kids going not only with her dance moves but also had some cool games up her sleeve too.
A HUGE thank you to Alex Williamson for being our awesome DJ for the evening. The tamariki loved your choice in music. Thanks to past chairperson Amanda Williamson for her help too. We also had helpers in the shape of past Tawhai ākonga, Emilie, Keily, Memphis, and Jessie and Tawhai parent Melissa who stayed to help clean up!
