Anna Sissons and Julia Dorgan have done a wonderful job organising everything! This morning with the valuable assistance of Karen Poole, Sharon Boese, Lynley Poole, Janette Page, Tanya Allen, Angela Whitmarsh and Lloyd Laurent, they dressed the truck beautifully and in time to head up to the top of the Valley!
A MASSIVE thank you to parent Dan Newman ( & Mainstream) for not only providing the truck but also been able to help with dressing it! You are a great driver too!
The children on the float had a thoroughly enjoyable time waving at the crowds who gathered to see the parade along the main road all the way down to the shops. The other floats looked wonderful too and the resident photographer took some photos of some of them as well which will be shared on the Stokes Valley Community page.
As usual The Rotary Club of Hutt River Valley did a wonderful job organising the event.
