Kia ora e te whānau,
3 of our Tawhai ākonga, Isaac, Maddy, and Lucy went off to Queen Elizabeth Park this morning to take part in the Regional Cross Country event! The certainly did themselves, their whānau and the kura proud with their results! Lucy came in with a creditable 31st placing. Her brother Joel was also taking part In the Year 7 race. Isaac and Maddy both came 4th in their respective races which means that they now qualify to attend the inter-regional cross country championships at Harcourt Park in September!
A hearty congratulations to Maddy and Isaac!
