Kia ora e te whānau,
What an amazing and talented group of tamariki we have at Tawahi Kura! They absolutely did themselves, their whānau, and their kura proud with their wonderful acting, singing, & dancing; from the lead actors all the way down to the chorus! The audience in all 3 shows saw the nursery rhyme characters brought well and truly to life during the hour and a half they were onstage & the Dad jokes went down such a treat too! I am sure most of our whānau went home humming the very catchy numbers sung during the performances!
It could not have been down without our beloved Kaiako: Miss Page, Julia Dorgan, Anna Sissons, and Anna O’Dea with so much support from the rest of the Kaiako and staff. A HUGE thank you to the ongoing help from our wonderful parent helpers who have helped with all sorts of jobs including costumes, props, painting, make-up, and helping backstage. The acknowledgements are on the first two photos taken from the programmes. A BIG thank you to anyone else who helped out! It is so much appreciated!
Below are the albums from both evenings plus some fly-on-the-wall photos before the performances began!
