Glen Road, Stokes Valley

Tēnā koe,

Wellington Water in conjunction with G.P. Friel Ltd will be completing work on behalf of Hutt Council.

We are renewing pipes to improve our network’s performance and to reduce the risk of emergency repairs and/or outages, minimise public health risks, reduce overflows to the environment and enhance the health of the ocean.

This work will take about 8 weeks from 13th May 2024. The hours of work will generally be 7am-6pm Monday to Friday. There will be some noise with this work, however every effort will be made to reduce noise and disruption.

To complete this important work, we need the area to be clear of vehicles and other obstructions during working hours. Vehicles in the work site will be towed to the nearest suitable park available. No Parking signs and cones will be installed a minimum of 24hrs prior to works commencing.

If you have any questions about this project or for regular updates on the works, please visit the ‘Projects’ section on the Wellington Water website – www.wellingtonwater.co.nz/projects or please contact:
