Hutt City Council are holding a tree planting at Delaney Park on Saturday 6th July and are warmly inviting the Stokes Valley Community to plant native trees and plants at Delaney Park in support of Mouri Tupu: Planting for the Future. These plants will provide habitat and food sources for birds, insects, and lizards, allowing more indigenous wildlife to thrive in our urban spaces.
Bring your friends and whānau to get your hands dirty and help plant the park. There will be a sausage sizzle at lunchtime, music and spot prizes.
