Colour Run

24th March 2025

Kia ora e te whānau

Just under a week to go until our colour fun run fundraising event (Friday 28th March 4.30-6.30pm). A massive thank you to everyone who has supported us in many ways from donating things to helping organise bits and pieces as well as everyone who has set up profiles and collected sponsorships.

The School Fun Run is all about FUN! Run, walk, or even dance through our obstacle course while being showered with colours. Wear white at the event to get your very own unique coloured clothes at the end of the colour run!

The colour powder is 98% Cornstarch and 2% Vegetable Food Dye. It’s non-

toxic, gluten-free and non-flammable.

Being all-natural it has no negative effects on the environment.

What should my child wear to the event?

Bring a towel and a change of clothes for your child to change into after the event (as we will the firetruck there using their hoses so the children will get wet).

Remember to pre order your food and tokens (so you don’t have to wait in line) Kindo orders will close Wednesday at midnight. All pre orders can be collected between 2:00-3:15pm outside room 1 on Friday and from the preorder stall on the night (pre ordered food will be a voucher to hand over to the crew at the stall)

You will need to have a Tawhai coupon to purchase food and activities on the night (the best option is to pre order these via Kindo and then just pick up) but vouchers will be available to purchase on the evening from the office via our eftpos machine.

(Please note that our Tawhai coupons cannot be used for the coffee/slushy cart – this is eftpos or cash only – as this is a separate business).

If anyone is keen to help out on the evening (setting up, cooking, serving etc) please let us know via email or come along to our meeting Tuesday 25th March 5.30pm in room 1 (we will be sorting out what needs to be done and who will be doing what on the night).

If you have any questions about the event please get in touch.

Thank you to everyone for all their support with this event.
