Kia ora e te whānau,
It was a pond of pink as a good many of our tamariki, kaiako, support staff, and PTSG Committee turned out their wardrobes to produce an eclectic array of outfits to celebrate Pink Shirt Day and show a massive support for the KiVa anti-bullying programme! Even Ollie got in on the act!
Some of our wonderful Tu Rangatira, Cassie, Courtney, Rosie, Terina, and Harper did a lot of hard mahi putting together the prizes, & decorating the whakaruruhau with pink balloons, then they went around each class to judge the best pink outfit. Well done to all!
At lunchtime, thanks to Miss Page who provided some music, some of our Tamariki enjoyed a bit of a bop under the whakaruruhau!
Thank you to Farmer B and the Tu Rangatira for organizing the day and making it so enjoyable for the ākonga!
