Kia ora whānau,
As a finale to Room 11 and 12’s inquiry unit we enjoyed a very successful Commonwealth Games Day at School. Students were split into three teams (Kenya, Jamaica, and England) and competed in four events. They were encouraged to give the events their best efforts with an emphasis on demonstrating the Tawhai Values (Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, and Resilience) and supporting their teams.
From competition to costumes, magic moments to medals, it was an exciting way to begin term 4!
