Kia ora o te whānau,
As the last week of Term 2 is coming to a close and the holidays are almost upon us, here are a couple of activities that can be done with your tamariki during the 2 week break.
Free Performances
As part of Te Papa’s free school holiday events, the Royal New Zealand Ballet is presenting shows for school-aged children and their families. Tiaho Pō is an original story written by Porirua children’s book author Juanita Teepa.
It tells the story of Māhina and her deep connection to the earth, source of light, life and hope. With music composition by Jeremy Mayall and Horomona Horo, experience the story of Māhina, Tamanui and their connection to the land and its many gifts, retold in music and dance.
