Kia ora o te whānau,
To round off our assemblies for Week 2 (the resident whakaahua unfortunately could not attend the Kopara Assembly this week!) our gorgeous tamariki from the Horoeka Hub gathered together in Ruma 9a, to not only enjoy a time of singing, but to celebrate succcess, our Tawhai Kura values and hard work in the form of Principal & Student awards. Acting tumuaki Mrs Boese was very proud to come along and present both during the assembly. There were 2 ākonga chosen by their kaiako from each classroom to be Tu Rangatira for this assembly and they had the special privilege of being allowed to sit in seats at the back of the room.
