Kia ora e te whānau,
The lovely Tamariki from Room 4 had a lovely idea after one of the reading groups read a story about a writers walk in one of the school journals they were reading. They decided to do something similar, choosing to write some poems about their life in Wellington and beautifully illustrate them. Then this morning they put them up on display in various spots by the walking track so that the rest of the kura can read them during breaktime.
What a wonderful idea!
