Kia ora e te whānau,
The Kopara Hub came together in Room 12 this afternoon for their fortnightly assembly.
Our wonderful co presenters for this assembly were Noa and Ashton from Room 6. They did a fantastic job of not only saying their mihi but also coordinating the events and being able to go with the flow when a couple of items had to be swapped around!
Everyone sang and signed beautifully to the National Anthem and they also enjoyed singing along to their favourite songs, My Superhero and Believe it or not!
Hunter, Rosalie, and Oli shared some of their fantastic writing about a special member of their whānau.
Tallulah and Brodie from Room 11 showed everyone their lovely safety posters. Tullulah’s one was about road safety and Brodie’s was about fire safety. They also read out some good do’s and don’ts!
Tumuaki Mrs Poole dropped by but this time the Principal’s awards were presented by two of our wonderful Tu Rangatira, Katelyn and Archie who were Acting Principals today.
Mrs Lynley Poole presented the Student awards.
Ka pai to all those who received awards.
Maisie and Indie were the lucky ākonga drawn out of the kete to receive prizes.
Lastly Mrs Harris declared Room 6 to be the best class of the assembly and Morgan accepted the assembly bear which will be kept in their classroom for the next two weeks!
