October is ADHD Awareness Month and the theme is ‘Breaking the Stigma’.
The te reo Māori kupu/word for ADHD is Aroreretini meaning ‘attention goes to many things’.
There is a growing understanding that ADHD seems to be more about having an abundance of attention, rather than a deficit of it.
ADHD shows up for different people in different ways presenting both challenges and strengths.
