This week we are celebrating Cook Islands Language Week. Today Hazel kindly brought in some doughnuts for her Kaiako and Classmates in Room 10 to enjoy! Thank you so much to Hazel’s family for sharing some food from your culture!
Room have also been practicing some dancing to TE MOU RIMA NEI AU and singing the Cook Islands Welcome song!
They did so well and but will continue to practice during the rest of the week!

Alisi and Kora have also been very busy promoting it through the window mural outside Room 14 with the sentence, Epetoma o te reo Mā Kūki Āirani, which means Cook Island Language week. They haven’t quite completed it yet!
