Kia ora e te whānau,
The budding writers of Room 11 have been working very hard this week on their interpretation of the classic story, ‘The Three Little Pigs’. Each of them had their published writing turned into a little story book with a sentence for each page and an illustration to match the sentence! Some of the artwork is amazing! Not only do we have budding writers but budding artists too!
They were very excited (and a little nervous) about reading their stories to Room 10 who they visited this afternoon. Firstly everyone listened to the original story on the TV before they were buddied up for reading time!
You can see the look of pride in the author’s faces as they read out their stories to their buddy!
Room 10 in turn did their bit of sharing by dancing to TE MOU RIMA NEI AU which they have been practicing all week!. Room 11 enjoyed dancing to it too!
They also danced to dem bones, then the tamariki listened to a story of a Giraffe who thought he couldn’t dance! Here is the link below, it’s a lovely story!
Kai pai to Room 11 for sharing your wonderful Three Little Pigs stories!
