Yesterday saw the final round of waterpolo for the season for both the Tawhai teams.
Tawhai White played first against Hutt Central School for 3rd and 4th places. During the first half the team had plenty of go forward with the ball but unfortunately could not find the back of the net. However they had a better second half with 4 goals, but despite a late resurgence, Hutt Central had the upper hand and came away with an 8-4 win.
Tawhai Blue faced Boulcott ( they had played each other earlier this month). This was for the plate final. Despite a very valiant effort and plenty of attacking play, Boulcott proved to be too strong and won by 12 goals to 5.
