Malo e lelei’
Our 2 Waterpolo teams were in action again down at the Stokes Valley Pool on Wednesday. The Tawahi White were on fire and came away with a 10-2 win against Belmont. The Tawhai Blues were up against a very against Boulcott. Despite a hard fought battle and a never give up spirit, they could not quite pull it off against their opponents who won the game 7-4.
It was lovely to catch up with old Tawhai friend, Matua Whaitiri and his whānau during the game. Whaitiri’s son plays for Boulcott.
It was also wonderful to see kaiako, Miss Page and Mrs Johnston who popped in to see both the games before their camp meeting! Mrs Johnston also kindly took on the scoring for both games!
